Food Prices Bite Into Aiken Budgets

Droughts and storms are set to cause problems with crops, and fuel prices are playing havoc with anything that has to be transported. World demand is rising.

Economists say this will cause a 3-4% increase in food prices, but it seems that food has already increased more than that already.

If these were the only problems, it would be bad enough, but the government is still printing money like there’s no tomorrow and that is likely to cause much more severe problems in the second half of the year.
