Living online can bring about fear in someone’s mind. No one should live online. There is an actual real world out there and, unfortunately, when you live online, safety issues can spill over into that reality and end up effecting safety.

No, the use of technology is not going away anytime soon. It is the accepted and easiest way to get what you’re looking for. Some have called this ‘societal saturation’, which means actually finding a person with no cell phone or computer in the U.S. in 2014 is basically impossible. 93% of U.S. adults have a cell phone, with most purchasing a smartphone, keeping these people further connected through the Internet.

 

The youngest generation will not even know what a world was like before the computer or cell, and some will disconnect over time from the real life factor. This, however, is not a debate on what will occur when no face-to-face is ever seen again in this world; this is about the fact that even though social media may lull you into a false sense of security, protecting your personal information is a must. There are foxes in the henhouse, people, and they are multiplying.

 

Some of the largest companies in the world, not to mention, actual federal government offices, have been hacked into. Peoples’ very lives have been stolen from ‘well-protected’ sites. If you are a person OR business owner trying to set up a company that will have the power to protect your target audience, you need to make sure that you work with a name that understands the ins-and-outs of what could, is, and may happen over the Internet.
